 · Spark Ignition allows weight reduction over compression ignition, which requires high compression and heavier duty parts.

 · 2 Stroke Engine (compared to 4 Stroke Engine) is mechanically simpler, requires no valve train to rob power output and produces a power pulse on every revolution (every other revolution for 4 Stroke).
